Holistic Psychotherapy

Holistic Psychotherapy is a more inclusive approach to healing, which synthesizes multiple traditional and non-traditional psychological, scientific, spiritual, energetic philosophies, methodologies, techniques and practices that take into account the whole of the client.

Non-traditional psychotherapy has the ability to go beyond what is currently included in the western world of science. This can be things like the body's energetic system, chakras, ancient eastern approaches to healing, meditation, breathwork, bio-physiology, and other spiritual practices.

By utilizing holistic psychotherapy, you will receive the benefits of the traditional psychotherapy alongside the rewards of the non-traditional.

Couples Counseling

My approach to couples work is to first understand each of you individually, teach each of you to understand yourselves better, and then begin to understand the other more deeply. This creates an atmosphere where vulnerability, closeness and connection now have a chance at flourishing.

My unique approach to working with couples begins with an initial couples session together to make sure both partners are on the same page in regards to the outcomes they are looking for. From this place of verbal commitment and honesty between the two of you, we can begin to work together to reach this shared goal. After we have created a detailed history of the relationship from inception to present together and what problem(s) led to you seeking support, I meet individually with each partner to uncover their personal detailed history. In this way, each partner is seen, heard, and validated - from this place, we can begin the relationship repair.

Life Coaching

Life Coaching is a form of support that can be utilized once we have excavated, healed, and integrated the deeper elements of self through holistic psychotherapy. It is an inter-relational approach for maintaining the progress that has been achieved while also receiving feedback and guidance through sessions as needed. Life Coaching helps to continue on a path of stability and consistent positive, effective, and efficient life choices.

Having this type of support can be essential to navigating many of life’s challenges with grace and ease. It provides a fresh outside unbiased viewpoint and some reframing to help you stay focused and balanced. Having an outside perspective can transform obstacles into gifts - the silver lining so to speak!

Root Cause Hypnotherapy

Root Cause Hypnotherapy, also known as Timeline Therapy™, is a technique designed to identify and heal experiences that occurred in your childhood or past that create emotional/mental blocks and limiting beliefs in your everyday life.

This technique can elicit a much deeper understanding of your triggers as well as help you develop an inner imaginative framework to work with your inner child. We do this in a safe, therapeutic state (different than traditional hypnosis) when you are not actively triggered, over a period of time. This allows the innate healing ability within you to grow stronger, helping to nurture and integrate your inner child with your present day adult self. Through this modality, you are able to move closer towards your higher purpose in this life which ultimately welcomes prosperity and sustainability in your everyday life.

Education about how best to utilize this powerful and profound transformational synthesis through contemplation to effectively guide the beginning of one’s journey into a body of knowledge that if followed can be all-inclusive guidance and a transformational system that allows anyone to in essence become their own healer, therapist, or teacher if one is so inclined.

Also includes psycho-spiritual education on how to use contemplation to transform within this system. Perfect for the overthinker as it uses the power of the mind to transform instead of the path of meditation, which focuses on the path of the “no-mind”. Meditation can be a difficult path for many to travel especially at the beginning of their inner work and transformation, which is why the path of contemplation can be a powerful tool for many.

Mental Health Advocacy

Mental health advocacy is for anyone who is looking for guidance and advice at how to navigate the traditional mental health system and best advocate for themselves or their loved ones to best insure that their voice is heard, their questions and concerns answered in the most noninvasive ways and treatment approaches are taken into account in a system that currently tends to not listen very well, treat everyone the same and simply look to medicate only and move on.

Sometimes medication is absolutely warranted and sometimes it simply makes things worse. This can snowball, especially when the individual doesn’t know the best questions to ask in a ‘medicate first, ask questions later’ environment. Alternatives do actually exist if one knows how to ask and navigate this system, which has unfortunately become very bureaucratic, mired in red tape and overwhelming to most people who end up entering it.

I’m absolutely not anti-medication, yet I am absolutely about being fully informed about the risks, rewards, differing approaches, and the importance of therapy accompanying the use of medication. I’m an advocate of a considerate, slow, and gradual approach when considering medications as they can and have saved lives when used with great reverence. When it comes to utilizing medication for mental health & wellbeing, it is of utmost importance to have an overall understanding from the beginning that less if often more, and research/education is always recommended.
